Hello! Thank you for visiting my website. As you may have guessed my name is Sarah Plestid and I create surreal, and mesmerizing sci-fantasy artwork with watercolours that dance and flow accompanied with pastels that glow and weave on the paper. I also write and illustrate children books that bring joy and captivates the hearts of many, and one day soon sci-fantasy novels.

With my watercolour and pastel paintings, I infuse space elements that intermingle with Mother Earth’s nature to create art that is both otherworldly and nostalgic.

For my children books, I like to create stories that are emotional, character driven, diverse, colourful and engaging. For the illustrations, I prefer a digital media such as Procreate for ease, quicker work flow and overall style.

I want my artwork and books to take you to places that will make you feel inspired and motivated to reach your dreams and go after the “impossible”, to break down the limits and think outside the box and open your mind and heart to your own creativity and confidence so you feel empowered with your next project or idea and lastly I want my artwork and books to light you up and fill you up with joy like it did for me when I created them.
